  • The Giza Plateau featuring the Great Pyramid and Sphinx
  • Egyptian Museum of Antiquities where you will marvel at King Tut’s treasures
  • Shore excursions while on cruise to sites in Aswan, Kom Ombo, Edfu and Luxor
  • International buffet breakfast daily with lunch and dinner while on cruise

The Program:

VISAS: All travelers to Egypt must have a visa. Citizens of most countries can obtain one on arrival. Please have passport details confirmed with us upon booking this tour and we will confirm whether you can obtain a visa upon arrival.

Dec 7: (Tuesday) Depart New York’s JFK airport on Egyptair #986 at 6:30PM flying nonstop to Cairo. (meals on the flight)

Dec 8: (Wednesday) Arriving Cairo mid-day clear immigration and customs. Staff transfers passengers to the Pyramids Park Resort . Overnight in Cairo.

*Optional visit to Sakkarra & Dahshur $75 per person
**Optional Sound and Light show at the Pyramids $40 per person

Dec 9: (Thursday) International buffet breakfast & check-out. Visit to the Giza Plateau with the Great Pyramid and Sphinx, then on to the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities featuring King Tut’s Treasures. Staff transfers guests to the airport, assists with check-in, and fly to Aswan. Arriving staff transfers guests to the Iberotel Nile Resort. Overnight in Aswan (B)

Dec 10: (Friday) International buffet breakfast at the hotel & check-out. Staff transfers guests to the Deluxe Five Star Nile Cruiser, M/S Moondance. Embarkation before lunch. Lunch on board then visit the High Dam, the Temple of Philae and the Unfinished Obelisk. Dinner on board. Overnight in Aswan (B, L, D)


*OPTIONAL FLIGHT and TOUR OF ABU SIMBEL to visit the famous temples of Ramses available this morning. $250 per person

Dec 11: (Saturday) Breakfast on board while sailing to Kom Ombo. Visit the Temple of Two Gods . Return to the ship for lunch. Sail to Edfu. Afternoon tea. Dinner on board. Overnight in Edfu (B, L, D)

Dec 12: (Sunday) Breakfast on board then visit the Temple of Horus in Edfu. Return to the ship to sail to Luxor via the Esna lock. Lunch on board. Dinner on board. Overnight in Luxor. (B, L, D)


*Optional sound and light show at Karnak temple $40 per person.

Dec 13: (Monday) Breakfast on board, disembark then visit the West Bank of Luxor including the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at El-Deir El-Bahari and the Colossi Memnon. On the East bank visit the Temples of Karnak and Luxor. Staff transfers guests to the airport, assists with check-in, and fly to Cairo. Staff transfers guests to the Sonesta Hotel. Overnight Cairo (B)

Dec 14: (Tuesday) Check out, staff transfers you to the airport, assists with exit formalities and checking in for your International departure.

TOUR COST $2200 per person, double occupancy (plus air ticket taxes).

Single Room Supplement, additional $495

INCLUDED IN COST:

  • International air from JFK plus domestic flights within Egypt on Egyptair in economy class.
  • All transfers by air-conditioned vehicle relating to the tour program starting with arrival to Cairo.
  • Baggage handling of no more than 1 piece of luggage per person however baggage and personal effects are at the owner’s risk at all time during the tour (baggage handling does NOT include tips for bellmen, porters, etc.).
  • Hotels (based on double occupancy).
  • 5 star Deluxe Nile cruise with upper decks, outside Nile view cabin, private bath, and individual climate control.
  • Meals as outlined by B for breakfast, L for lunch and D for dinner.
  • Fees for visiting antiquity sites and museums.
  • Services of an English speaking licensed Egyptologist.
  • Service charges and taxes.

FEES NOT INCLUDED: Items of a personal nature such as tips, entry visa, phone calls, laundry, drinks with meals, any items not specifically covered in the included items.
